Epoxy Flake Flooring for Casemate Museum in Fort Monroe, VA
The MACH ONE® Norfolk team recently completed an 1,100 sq. ft. epoxy flooring project at the Casemate Museum in Fort Monroe, VA, delivering a durable solution while preserving the character of this historic space. The museum required a flooring system that could withstand daily foot traffic across both exhibit areas and office spaces, all while maintaining a clean and timeless appearance.
Following extensive surface preparation, the team installed a full epoxy flake flooring system using a 1/4″ Stoney Creek flake blend, chosen for its slip resistance, durability, and classic aesthetic that complements the building’s historic features.
The result is a seamless, low-maintenance floor that enhances the space without compromising its history. The museum board was extremely pleased with the transformation and has already invited the MACH ONE team back for additional work at Fort Monroe.
